Drinking and Driving
Hey guys sorry for the delay… we are finally back after a week or so off. A lot has happen recently especially in my neck of the woods, Dallas, Texas. People are being murdered left and right. We had a murder at White Rock Lake, there was another girl found dead and an intoxicated manslaughter case (which will be my topic of interest today).
My topic for today is one that really struck a nerve with me. Why you ask? Mainly because I know a person who knows a person who knows another person who was good friends with the gal who was intoxicated.
She, like many other recent college grads, was out having fun and chose to make a life changing decision to drink and drive.
I’ll be the first to admit that I myself have actually chosen the same bad mistake a few times back in my college days as well. For my instance(s) I came out a little bit luckier and fortunate to not get in any type of wreck.
Why do we, as young adults, choose to make these bad decisions after we consistently see cases like this on the TV? Because we think we are different and will never get “caught”. That’ll never happen to us we are invincible!!! I can tell you this story struck a nerve.
You never think these accidents will include anyone you know, until that day comes.
I wanted to share this story mainly to ensure that you think twice before drinking and driving. Don’t risk not only your own life but the lives of everyone out on the road.
Here is the story in case you missed it.
